Lauren Elizabeth publishes essays on Medium.com and describes herself as a writer with analysis on topics related to politics & policy. Today April 19, 2026 she quotes a letter written by the new President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian and adressed to the American people:

Such a perception is the product of political and economic whims of the powerful — the need to manufacture an enemy in order to justify pressure, maintain military dominance, sustain the arms industry, and control strategic markets. I believe the American people were told by their president, some of us call him President Tantrum, and TrumpleThinSkin that an over-night bombing of the Iranian Nuclear facility obliterated their Nuclear Atom Bomb capability during an aviation blitz in June 2025. Now he is saying to the world he needs to bomb everything else, and without Congressional approval as well. There is no mention of oil being an issue. There is no doubt in my mind that unauthorized power to bomb another country, must be removed from USA President Donald J Trump before he does more damage to his perceived enemies on this planet.

One of the US Newspapers reported that ThinSkin fired a top-ranked General who refused to give him the Nuclear Codes. I trust like minded Generals will do the same.

We are enjoying warmer weather in March and April with the odd sprinkling of rain to encourage green growth and our blessed May flowers. Some of us have moved our golf clubs closer to the front door and/or silently dropped them into the trunk of the car. My club--Brampton Golf Club--has not opened yet, but Lakeview GC has; and it's five minutes from home.

[Bye the way, my heavy breathing issue has been diagnosed as an irregular heart beat that is treated with a blood thinner prescription, more exercise walking everyday, and get on CPAP equipment which was diagnosed four years ago.]

This photo is from the television program "Escape to the Country." Its purpose is proposing real estate in the many ancient villages and countryside of the UK. Terryl loves this show because it reminds her of time spent on Air Canada lay overs between 1970 and 2008; and I like it for their remarkable country and seaside photography.

This field of yellow flowered oil rich seeds is called Rapeseed (Brassica napus). It can be cold pressed and made into an edible oil product competing with the ubiquitous Italian extra virgin olive oil to name but one purpose. Another use is to produce lubricants, hydrolic fluids, plastics, paints and soaps.
